Privacy Policy
Last updated July 29, 2026
Calibrated Resilience® Kids (“CR Kids™,” “we,” “us”) is a learning platform built for neurodivergent children and the parents who care for them. Protecting your family’s privacy, and especially your child’s, is central to how the product is built, not an afterthought. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
A note on how this policy is organized
CR Kids is marketed to parents, who create accounts and make decisions for their children. Children do not create accounts or browse the site on their own. Because of that, different rules apply to different parts of the product, and we’ve written this policy to make those differences clear. The strongest protections apply to any information about a child. See our COPPA and Children’s Privacy notice.
Information we collect
The free assessment collects no personal information. Anyone can take the CaliberDNA Jr.™ assessment without signing in. We do not ask for a name, email, or any identifying detail. We keep only anonymous, non-identifying data (such as which answer was chosen and the resulting archetype) to understand how the assessment performs in aggregate. This cannot be traced back to a person.
When a parent creates an account, we collect the parent’s email address and a password (handled by our authentication provider; we never see the raw password). If a parent chooses to save a child’s profile, we collect the information the parent provides about that child, such as a first name and age. We collect this only after verifiable parental consent (described in the COPPA notice).
When a parent subscribes, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; Stripe handles payment data under its own security standards.
Professional waitlists. Educators and practitioners who join a waitlist provide their own professional details (name, email, school or organization, and role). This is adult professional information; it is never mixed with children’s data.
How we use information
We use information to provide and improve the product: to authenticate your account, to save and display your child’s learning profile to you, to process subscriptions, to send you service messages (such as email verification and consent confirmations), and to respond when you contact us.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use children’s information for behavioral advertising, and we do not allow third-party ad networks or trackers on any page a child could see.
Analytics
On our public marketing pages only, we use a privacy-respecting, self-hosted analytics tool that counts page views without cookies and without collecting personal information. We do not run analytics on the assessment, on children’s pages, or inside the parent dashboard.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers who help us operate the product, such as our cloud hosting and database provider, our authentication provider, our payment processor, and our email providers. These providers act on our instructions and are permitted to use the information only to provide their service to us. They never receive children’s data they don’t strictly need.
We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and our service.
Data retention
We keep account and profile information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and your children’s profiles at any time (see “Your choices”). When you do, we delete the associated personal information, except for limited records we are required to keep, such as a legally required log that consent was given or withdrawn, which is retained as a compliance record.
Your choices and rights
You can review and update your account information, review the information stored about your children, export your data, and delete your account from your dashboard. You may also withdraw parental consent at any time; doing so will stop further collection and lead to deletion of your child’s profile information.
To make any of these requests, use the controls in your dashboard or contact us at privacy@calibratedkids.com.
Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit, strict database access controls that isolate each family’s data, and least-privilege access for our systems. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit what any single system can access.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the product after a change means you accept the updated policy.
